When we talk about terms like marketing and christianity in the same sentence I understand that it makes some people feel icky. I believe that “marketing” can be redeemed. It can be simply positioning an idea to be heard.
Are there some images that are sacred? If so, what do you think those images are? I know I personally feel offended when I see the crucifixion portrayed in a way that makes Jesus’s death for the sins of mankind seem trivial. At the same time I am a fan of satire and enjoy a good laugh.
I think if you are “using” Jesus to push a product or agenda you are walking a dangerous line (plus it feels icky)
So is there such a thing as sacred art?
