JesusNeedsNewPR.net is a site that features these funny & creepy “Jesus Pictures” found online.  The pictures make me laugh, make me think, some offend me, and others make me embarrassed about the way some Christians represent Jesus in art.

That is what art does, it is supposed to make people feel something.  The last time this happened to me I was walking around a music festival in the vendors tent and saw an artist named Eric Samuel Timm displaying his paintings.  There was a painting named “Share Love” and I was instantly reminded about how my wife and I want to adopt one day and how so many children need help and I was overwhelmed. I bought the picture to hang over my desk and a couple of his other pieces.

There are far too many examples (although they can be very humorous) of “Clip-Art-Jesus”.

Again, see JesusNeedsNewPR.net

But Eric Samuel Timm and No One Underground is using art to market Jesus effectively.  That’s why we are featuring his work in “The Inspiration” section on marketingJesus.net.

Finally a Christian artist that doesn’t just market to the elderly.

If you are looking for a “Jesus Picture” to decorate your church or office then Eric Samuel Timm can help. He is also an effective communicator and available to see on tour and book to speak at events.

“His greatest work is us. Our greatest work is becoming Him. Therefore there is nothing truly more artistic than to love people.” – Eric Samuel Timm
